"Outdoor learning experiences are often remembered for a lifetime. Integrating learning and outdoor experiences, whether through play in the immediate grounds or adventures further afield, provides relevance and depth to the curriculum in ways that are difficult to achieve indoors. Learning outdoors can be enjoyable, creative, challenging and adventurous and helps children and young people learn by experience and grow as confident and responsible citizens who value and appreciate the spectacular landscapes, natural heritage and culture of Scotland."

Who We Support

Picture
On the 1st of September 2018 a team of staff took part in the Rob Roy Mighty Hike (26 miles) for Macmillan between Callander and Killin along the Rob Roy Way. To say this will be a challenge is an understatement. Many of the team have witnessed the suffering of family members and the family of friends who have battled various forms of cancer.

Welcome to The Warm Welly Company - the home of Warm Wellies
The idea of creating Warm Wellies for kids came from a very practical need – to stop our children getting ‘frozen toes’ when they were outside with us on the farm. Our aim was to create wellies that are warm and comfortable, so our kids could stay outdoors longer and enjoy their country life.

The children’s wellies are neoprene lined for warmth and comfort. We were the first kid’s welly company to use neoprene lining – because we know first hand what it is like to have tears over frozen toes. They’re hand made from natural rubber and have a great grip.  We recommend going up a size from shoes to allow for growth and nice welly socks.
