"To encourage our children to learn through play in an outdoor environment that harnesses natural curiosity and confidence within".
Our Aims and Ethos

Staff encourage learning through natural curiosity, communication, problem solving, questioning and creativity.
Emphasis on recruitment and retention of excellent quality staff to build strong relationships with the children.
Commitment to follow Realising the Ambition and The Curriculum for Excellence.
Working closely with the Care Inspectorate and Education Scotland to ensure our standards remain at the highest levels.
Sharing best practice with other qualified early years practitioners in settings that have a similar vision.
Safe and Caring
Each child will have an assigned key worker who is responsible for monitoring and tracking their learning and development.
The team will build strong attachments with the children and their families – creating confidence and security for all children.
We provide a warm and caring environment for children to feel safe and secure in allowing the children to flourish.
The nursery indoor provision and extensive outdoor areas have been designed with particular emphasis on the safety and welfare of the children and of the staff team.
Encouraging Healthy Lifestyles
Sourcing and using local produce for homecooked meals and snacks.
Promoting physical activity and development.
Participation in national programmes encouraging healthy living including Eco Schools Programme and Child Smile.
